Conservatives Call for AG to Investigate $300+ Million PrescribeIT Failure
Conservative Shadow Health Minister Dan Mazier is calling on the Auditor General to investigate the Liberal government’s failed PrescribeIT program. Launched in 2016 with $40 million, costs ballooned to over $300 million, yet fewer than 5% of prescriptions use the system. Despite Canada Health Infoway terminating the program, questions remain about $98 million paid to TELUS Health, unclear intellectual property ownership, possible offshore outsourcing, and who ultimately benefited from the taxpayer-funded project. Liberals blocked document release at committee.
Liberals use Majority to reset committees
Yesterday, the Liberals used a Motion of Closure to force through votes that added extra Liberal members to every parliamentary committee. Normally, committee membership is allocated after a general election based on each party’s seat count in the House of Commons.

Putting Private Property First
Pierre Poilievre has appointed Tako van Popta, Conservative MP for Langley Township—Fraser Heights, as Chair of the new Conservative Task Force on Property Rights. The task force will address the Cowichan Tribes v Canada court ruling, which prioritizes Aboriginal title over private fee simple ownership in parts of British Columbia, creating uncertainty for homeowners, investors, and the economy. It will also examine the secret Musqueam Rights Recognition Agreement and broader Liberal policies under Mark Carney that failed to protect property rights.Van Popta’s mandate includes assessing impacts, developing legislative protections, guiding caucus policy, and recommending actions such as prioritizing private property in court and requiring explicit safeguards in future agreements. Poilievre highlighted van Popta’s 30 years of real estate law experience.
Seizing Opportunities Abroad
Pierre Poilievre, Conservative Leader, has appointed Chak Au, MP for Richmond Centre—Marpole, as Chair of the new Conservative Pacific Gateway Economic Engagement Caucus. The caucus aims to strengthen Canada’s economic and strategic position in the Indo-Pacific region, countering what Poilievre calls a decade of Liberal failures that left Canada unprepared for global competition, with unbalanced trade and infrastructure bottlenecks. Au’s responsibilities include developing a comprehensive Asia-Pacific strategy, advancing LNG exports, addressing infrastructure gaps, protecting national security, and delivering a report by year-end. Poilievre praised Au’s extensive regional experience and networks, noting support from Shadow Minister Michael Chong.

The Lost Decade
The Most Egregious Failures of Justin Trudeau and the Liberals going all the way back to 2015.
A Costly Budget of Broken Promises
I congratulate the Minister for his first budget speech. It was a very long speech, and given that this government is adding about $10 million to our national debt every single hour, I think we can say that while talk is cheap, it’s very expensive when a Liberal finance minister does it.
Unions Back Poilievre’s ‘Boots Not Suits’ Plan
Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre announced his plan to boost training for the next generation of workers. This policy, named ‘More Boots, Less Suits,’ will bring home more training halls, direct grants and faster EI to apprentices in the licensed trades. This will deliver powerful paycheques for our people while making us less dependent on the Americans.
