Au’s responsibilities include developing a comprehensive Asia-Pacific strategy, advancing LNG exports, addressing infrastructure gaps, protecting national security, and delivering a report by year-end. Poilievre praised Au’s extensive regional experience and networks, noting support from Shadow Minister Michael Chong.
